Nidri town
A lovely little seaside tourist trap
This charming little seaside town is very popular with the tourists. Lots of ferries leave from here, and there’s a large ex-pat community here mostly consisting of English. It has a vast array of tourist shops one street back from the waterfront, which is covered in tavernas that do a roaring trade well into the late evening. It is a very popular place for cruisers too, so we will no doubt be back here to investigate more when we return from our inland road trip.
Bali also has lots of male genitalia souvenirs as well. Some say it's a symbol of good luck, others say it's cos the Aussie's like them.
